Proudly, I represented the Inspector-General of Police IGP Olatunji Disu, psc at the Stakeholders Briefing and Presentation of the Annotations to the Peace Accord convened by the National Peace Commission in Abuja, yesterday. 🇳🇬
President Tinubu’s statement at the decoration of the acting IGP, Tunji Disu:
“I made this decision for you to assume this responsibility. I know your record. I saw the dedication you exhibited while you were in Lagos when I was governor.
“Lead firmly but fairly, demand professionalism at every level and ensure that the safety of lives and property remains our highest priority. It’s a daunting challenge. I know you can do it. You have my word, you have my full support.”
The National Security Adviser and ICCES Co-Chair, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, represented by by Abdullahi Hassan, Director of Internal Security commended security agencies for their professionalism during the Anambra Governorship Election and assured Nigerians of robust security deployment for all upcoming elections.
