@TravLCox They do deserve to be held accountable, but the blame here really falls on USBE, far-right legislation, and extremist groups like Utah Parents United. It is hard though because historically we wouldn’t have offered much grace to black youth who make mistakes.

@TravLCox When we have teenagers doing this stuff it just shows this is a community/culture problem. Utah has outright banned discussions on racism in schools so it doesn’t feel right to pin it all on these kids. A criminal record doesn’t solve a damn thing.
