Young Leeds Rhinos full back Alfie Edgell is looking forward to the future after agreeing a contract extension that will keep him at AMT Headingley until at least the end of the 2027 Betfred Super League season.

The news that the Rhinos have triggered the option to extend his contract has come as a boost for the 21-year-old after he suffered a thigh injury that will keep him on the sidelines for the first part of next season.
