Part 1 of a fabulous camp in @LarchHillScouts for our scouts and Ventures. There were scones, nettle tea and cordage, planked mackerel and Salmon, grilled ribs, pita pockets, hammocks, laughs and memories made.

This time last year my phone rang with the worst news. I have no idea what determination of thought helped @carl_dempsey up the mountain after 60km cycling and running, all the while having a silent heart attack. Thinking of all those who came to his aid, my heart is with them.

Well done to Darragh, Jayden, Jethro, and Katie who came 3rd in their first ever rowing regatta in #Balbriggan today. It was a brilliant event hosted by @FingalRowing. We were delighted to be able to participate and are already looking forward to next year. #rowing #scoutsie

We want to give a big shout out 2 the Department of Rural & Community Development, Fingal County Council, and Fingal Local Community Development Committee for their generous grant that allowed us to buy equipment to get our scouts out on the water to experience new adventures
