#bbcfootball Biggest problem with VAR is that it is no longer possible to celebrate a goal. People have said we should keep the VAR for offside but why? The amount of big errors is so minimal and I will happily accept a goal against my team even if there is a toe/armpit offside.
@DomBooth19 Hi Dom. Couldn't agree more about the squad number order, but I would like someone to take the final step and do the same for the keepers. THAT would be the end of football.
@bloodandmud Hello from Norway. Am I the only one who got the impression from his interview, that Shaun Edwards is so focused on the defence that he is doesn't really watch the team play offence in training?
@TimdeLisle As a Chelsea fan I am desperate for Werner to be a success, but he seems to have started the way he left off from Chelsea. At least he hasn't been offside yet. that's an improvement.
@Jimbo_Cricket English man here, living in Norway, on the way to bed. Not
your ideal demographic, possibly. But I will be checking the score ASAP tomorrow when I awake. Come On Pakistan!
@maxrushden@guardian_sport@bglendenning @robyniocowen @larssivertsen Is it not slightly ridiculous that Cole Palmer refused to celebrate a goal against his boyhood club, but was booked for trying to mess up the spot before Haaland's penalty?
Just a thought (about England rugby) but when you have a massive full-back who is great in the air...and they have wingers who are wickedly fast but quite short...maybe you kick pass to the corners and win a WC semi? Come on England.
England have little option but to pick Stokes for World Cup rescue mission https://t.co/lPWDq1Zt5a Nope, sorry. The wild card here is David Willey and letting Woakes take a seat.
@niallmcveigh I'm thinking SA might be the better opponents for England. After today they might have the fans on their side? Maybe? A little? Lets be honest, it's goint o be a massacre.
@DanielHarris Heating's been on for a week here in Norway but I dare say it's little chillier. Anyway what has David Willey done wrong to not get a go...is it just that he's another lefty?
@niallmcveigh Hei from Norway Niall. I love this France team (as much as a 40 something England fan can) but I am not a fan of the amount of time they spend with arms out looking at the ref. Please don't let rugby follow football in this respect!
@maxrushden@guardian_sport@bglendenning@kvlmason@NickAmes82 Chelsea fan here...if you guys some how forget about the Chelsea v. VIlla game, I wouldn't be upset at all. Also if you keep forgetting Chelsea matches for the forseeable that's fine too.
@TimdeLisle Hi Tim. I would just like to highlight one success so far in terms of our summer business. Gusto at right back looks a real talent and a more than able back-up to James. At least here we can say we have improved after the aging Azpilicueta was let go.
@JohnBrewin_ As an ex-pat I know it is hard to judge the temperture in other countries from afar. but might I be correct in thinking everyone will be glad to get rid of Rubiales? There was only ever one thing that needed to happen and now it has. Hoorah!!!
@LukeMcLaughlin Is it possible England have been playing the long game since Borthwick started? As in lets get the underdog tag well & truely attached before the tournament by being rubbish? But that the clarity of thought and expansive rugby is ready to go? Asking for a friend.
