@ScooterMcNeice They have been huge for us but wouldn’t be doing any more than Hobbs or Setterfield if they were in the VFL.
There aren’t many teams who would swap their 2nd or 3rd best mids for Durham or Caldwell.
@RabbyHendry @JonathanJWalsh @crypto_cowes Yep.
The less pressure on the ball coming out of the forward line the harder it is for the mids to get it back.
The less pressure from the mids the harder it is for the defenders.
When you have 3 or 4 (or 6 or 7) passengers it makes the whole team look bad.
@AlbertThurgood Amen. So many players on the list that are a liability when the opposition has the ball.
Get Hobbs and Setterfield back in and give Tsatas a chance.
Really need another key defender to help McKay. Hopefully Z Reid or Baldwin come good.
@SilverTopHurls Draft players with zero defensive attributes.
Select the players with zero defensive attributes.
Wonder why the other team waltzes the ball from one end to the other at will.
Repeat.
@Bombers_Boss Biggest issue will be getting the ball back. We may be able to apply pressure for periods but for 4 quarters??
Merrett, Durham and Caldwell can’t do it by themselves.
@JonathanJWalsh @liamevans_95@aussie_dad8@ScooterMcNeice Where are Setterfield and Hobbs at? Our best football last year was with them playing well both ways. Durham, Zach and Caldwell have had great years but they need more support trying getting the ball back. Still too many passengers when the other team has the ball.
@greggrosenthal@MikeGarafolo Any ATN fans here to read the mean tweets got any sport podcast recommendations for me?
“Washed Up with Kit and Rowan” is worth checking out if you are into Aussie Rules football.

@Dameshek Appreciate your loyalty Dave but there are thousands of other foods on offer that haven’t been tampered with.
On reflection some of us had been overIndulging.
@ScooterMcNeice@Qbagger Dodoro has a particular type of player
-lightly framed
-look ok when they’ve got the ball without pressure
-poor at applying pressure
-easily pushed off the ball
-average decision maker
Its the opposite strategy of teams (eg Cats, Syd) that do well in the wet, and also finals.
@RabbyHendry@deanbogga@rohan_connolly@ESPNAusNZ Yep. I think everyone understands why it won’t happen. A lot of powerful figures in the MCC boys club.
Victorian clubs will continue to go into every season with an unfair advantage over the intestate teams.
