Two hours of rain and this is how the national highway in Tibungco, Davao City looks like. Ganito na ang sitwasyon sa Davao city since 1990, when I first arrived in Mindanao. Thirty-six (36) years of Dutertes, and nothing really has changed in this city.
LUISTRO: DEFENSE EFFECTIVELY ADMITTED AUTHENTICITY, GENUINENESS OF THREAT VIDEO
Lead House Prosecutor Gerville Luistro says the Defense has effectively acknowledged the authenticity of the video containing Vice President Sara Duterte's alleged threats after presenting a portion of the same footage during the #impeachment trial.
“Yung kanilang pag-present kahapon ng video, which is part of the video presented by the prosecution, for us, that is an admission of the authenticity, genuineness of the video concerning the allegations of threat, destabilization, and contracting an assassin,” Luistro said.

Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro Jr. warned against dismissing claims by Chinese scholars that Batanes belongs to China, saying such narratives must be taken seriously as they may contribute to the spread of false information.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), meanwhile, reaffirmed that the Philippines’ sovereignty over Batanes is settled and not open to debate. | DZRH News

It would be a real pleasure to have Atty Amando Virgil Ligutan be part of NUPL. His litigation dexterity and competence would be credit to any team. It is unfortunate that he is not a member, but we are happy to note he practices people's lawyering too.

I noticed, Sen. @piacayetano often lectures her other co Senators with the way they ask questions in the trial (in a condescending tone) .
I wonder why she never called out Sen. Robin Padilla for asking lengthy non sense questions that delays the proceeding.?

On July 12, 2016, the Philippines secured a landmark legal victory. The Arbitral Award affirmed that China's sweeping claims in the West Philippine Sea have no legal basis under international law and clarified the Philippines' maritime rights.
Yet China continues to reject the ruling while its actions at sea persist. The law has not changed, only the attempts to distort it.
Don't let propaganda replace facts. Expose false narratives. Share verified information. Stand with the rule of law and help ensure that the truth about the West Philippine Sea is heard.
The battle for our seas is also a battle for the truth.
