@thejustinwelsh Intentional and voluntarily seeking out painful stuff. The key is not to avoid pain, but to seek meaningful pain. If you don't, life will give you meaningless pain.
Before you go to bed tonight, just remember one thing:
Nothing eats you up more than your own mind. Stop overthinking things that are completely out of your control. Seriously. Go outside, eat some fruit, and breathe. Let your mind rest. You are going to be fine, I promise. This too, shall pass.
The more jobs I've worked, the more I realize that it isn't the job that I hate as much. It's the people you work with that make it painfully insufferable. They determine with you enjoy or hate it. All my bad experiences have been because of people, not the work itself. I would rather work a with job with amazing people than an amazing job with shit people.
@itscoachgoodman I don't think this is a hot take at all. It's more quieter, people are there to study and focus on work. Unlike a coffee shop where people chat.
@ML_Philosophy Because we see through the games, manipulation and lies before they even happen to us. Pattern recognition protects us but also makes relationships hard.
@QuoteJung A lot of people use intelligence as a cover up to compensate for being lazy. They can't put their egos aside, risk embarrassment, and so they spend an eternity consuming and learning knowledge thinking that they are smart.
