What’s something from your childhood that sounds completely insane to teenagers today?

Not the usual "we drank from garden hoses" stories.

I mean the weird stuff:

• Memorizing your friends' phone numbers
• Calling someone’s house and having their parents answer
• Waiting all week for a TV episode because there was no streaming
• Getting lost and using a paper map
• Taking 24 photos and not seeing them for days
• Recording songs off the radio and hoping the DJ wouldn’t talk over the intro
