@StuCarrington07 finally got to read Blowing the whistle. A great read and worth while for any sports official.
Certainly get the mind thinking which makes it stronger. A lot can be taken from the book to help
Thank you
@StuCarrington07 A question I have is
Is there a better process to recruit suitable new refs.
My thought is we wouldn’t just allow any person be a police officer without knowing they are suitable and would interview to ensure that we have the right type of person.
Just a thought
@Teamgrassroots_ What do you want to do?
If you feel your son is going to make it a professional then wake up.
Less than 1% of youth players make it as a professional and when they do it’s because they want to and not a parent.
You have one job! Support your child and help them
@SussexCountyFA Such sad news. Gary was a great man and always had time to talk and help others in the game.
Deepest thoughts go to his family and all that new him.
He will be missed by many.
It was a pleasure to know him.
Rest in peace Gary
