Winter canola with summer species here needed no irrigation this summer !
Get the benefit of extra grazing and diversity rather than monoculture canola
@BrentAlexande19 Guano supplies a longer lasting P source along with good calcium, while the P from map lasts 6 weeks but does help get the crop up and going especially if into cold soil
Pre watered Oats have done well in last years wheat stripper stubble leaving some cover after hay
3x 20kg dissolved urea with minerals/microbes
50 kg SOA
20kg guano
20kg map
Surprised how healthy and well the crop has gone
@GusCamp13109821 Yeh ok Iโm surprised how thick the beans are I could cut the rate back and increase canola slightly
Happy with the crop though, part of the reason for canola was to hold up the beans as Iโve had trouble with lodging before
Beans climbing for the sunlight
Unsure if theyโll keep podding up much more towards the top
Companions and foliar nutrition/biology helping with disease prevention๐
