@chriswalsh008 @cropmad Yeah very wet winter and spring for us wouldn’t have helped. Most of our cultivation was early December so think we just stirred around the eggs and they hatched in crop.

@chriswalsh008 @cropmad Cultivation is definitely not a silver bullet for them, we have been smashed by them in potatoes this year with heavy cultivation prior to planting the potato crop. Cultivation timing may play a roll maybe? Never seen so many slugs in my life.

@BR_Mansbridge @ipaddockapps We've already lifted the box about 125mm or so as we're on some fairly hilly ground. Planning to leave the tine frame in tact and mount the alpha discs underneath, going to be a bit of a work it out as we go job.

@AchieveAg @Dynamic_Ag @KennedyCreek1 @Agrivetbusiness I just wondered wether the discomfort would last very long with rings or would tend to turn numb after not to long. Definitely old lambs take long but generally they seem to “walk it off” fairly quickly.

@AchieveAg Do you think the same result would be see with using rings for both? We find generally with rings after an hr or so of laying/rolling about around they get up and going reasonably quickly.
