Think of classical spacetime (ℝ¹🪞³) like an infinite, flat sheet of graphing paper. It’s a great tool for drawing simple lines (classical physics). But when physicists try to draw the intense, confined quantum world of quarks and gluons on it, the math blows up into impossible infinities.

To fix these infinities, physicists use a mathematical magic trick called the Wick Rotation. They multiply time by an imaginary number (t → iτ), transforming physical Minkowski space (ℝ¹🪞³) into an imaginary 4D Euclidean space (ℝ⁴).
