Applicants who use virtual addresses as their business addresses and submitted their home addresses as their domicile addresses may be particularly vulnerable if their home addresses are not otherwise publicly available.

USPTO accidentally publicly revealed private domicile addresses of trademark registration applicants, making them more vulnerable to fraud in addition to their loss of privacy. This was via APIs and bulk data products. Numerous concerns listed in replies. https://t.co/UmeOvfgAo5

Trademark registration applicants who filed applications within this time period should be vigilant regarding potential fraudulent communications they may receive concerning their trademark registration applications.

This is outrageous. 37 CFR §2.18(a) provides that the USPTO will "correspond only with [the] attorney," with exceptions that don't apply here. TMEP §803.05(b) also states that "the USPTO will use the attorney’s email address for correspondence."
