I just cant wait for the day aliens beam me up and take my reproductive organs so I dont have to argue with old white men abt my what I can and cant do with my body
You cannot say every baby is a blessing/miracle while simultaneously using pregnancy as a punishment for "not keeping you legs closed" in your argument against abortion
I leave corbin alone for 5 seconds at the farmers market and I find him signing a thing to keep womens rights in Michigan if roe v wade is overturned. 🥲
I was just returning his credit card to his wallet, and I found it folded up in there. This man has kept that cloth for 7+ years and takes it everywhere with him 😭
Im not a churchy person but when my grandma used to always send us prayer cloths, when she passed her fam found some and sent them to us. I got one, the last one I would ever get from her. I cut it in half and gave the other half to Corbin when we first started dating -
I was hanging out with Corbins bb cousin yesterday and today her mom sent me a picture of her hair in the same style I was wearing mine yesterday and she said she was demanding her hair look just like mine 🥲 if that's not the cutest thing ever I-
Its just really disappointing I can't let Atlas outside to lay in the sun on his chair while I work because our neighbors have no consideration for the people around them. My dogs seem like the only ones who get "punished" for my neighbors lack of responsibility
So far today we have had one neighbor dog whose leash is so long it can happily stand in my front yard and bark, another neighbor dog get loose and play on my porch (digging in planters, knocking over water, basically big mess) and another neighbors 4 dogs bark for hours
And I understand accidents happen but I keep thinking like what if Atlas or Bear was outside when the husky came over, I feel like it would have been bad news 🤷♀️ and then Atlas would immediately be at fault because he is a pitbull
But to be fair atlas needs a buddy after all his puppy friends have either passed away or moved away over the years, and we are scared if we keep waiting he is going to be too old and won't want anything to do with a new bb, so place ur bets on who is going to bring 1 home first
Puppy fever has my husband and I in an absoliutle chokehold. I have been doing okay mentally preparing myself to *maybe* start looking in the fall, meanwhile corbin almost brought home a pomeranian he saw at a adoption event when he went to the pet store to get kitty litter
Its also funny to me that the minute Atlas turned 5 and started getting gray on his face we both were like "welp its too calm and quite in the house, we need more chaos"
After seeing how Corbin and I handled the feral neighborhood children who have been using our deck as a jungle gym I realized who would be good cop/bad cop if we ever had kids
What i believe happens in the after life varies alot and I don't believe in the Bible style heaven/hell, but that doesn't effect how I treat myself and others. I don't need to be afraid of burning in hell fire to make the right decision 🤷♀️ its not that hard to be a positive force
If the *only* reason you do good deeds is to reserve yourself a spot in heaven then you are not a good person. You shouldn't have to be promised a reward to be a good person and make good choices. Thx for coming to my late night talk
My neighbors just had the cops come over and write a citation for their barking dogs 2 weeks ago and they got another full grown dog (husky) make it make sense 🙃🙃
The hardest thing I ever did was put my bff Mufasa down, but there was closure knowing he was with us when he died and I have a little box with his ashes. I have nothing for Finn and think about where he is or if he died alone all the time. It's a horrible feeling.
Having a pet get lost is so hard because you *never* get closure. Its been 2 years and I still hold out hope thah he will make his way back to us even though I know it is unlikely. I still check the shelter once a week to see if someone brought him in. Its always on my mind
