@ScottHYoung Agree - while there are improvements that can be made in efficiency, the biggest barrier to learning is motivation, and there’s no simple solution to “revolutionize” how to motivate a young person to do the hard work of learning.
@nntaleb finally read Black Swan (thank you, great read), was left with the gnawing question of what happens if the majority of jobs become Extremistan - feels like a precarious society. Curious if you have policy thoughts on how to avoid/soften.
One of the more important lessons I've learned from multiple rounds of new product development: start by finding the burning customer problem, then tie it back to the business need - not the other way around. https://t.co/NHFD7x75o7
I always found the need for "motivation" surprising - after all, you're trying to get yourself to do the things you know you want to do! I think about motivation as "Persuasive Memory" https://t.co/SOP8fDd1aa
Whenever you're leading a project, as a PM or otherwise, it's up to you to make sure that even after all the feedback, ideas, and constraints, the whole thing still makes sense: https://t.co/P4b94HukV8

@chartio please, please, please allow us to set organization-wide defaults for chart visibility. *Every single time* I share a chart with someone, I end up having to go back and share it with them. It's the worst. Other than that, I love the product.
@futurepaul very cool profile of the RFID whole-house audio integration. I did a similar project a while back to put pandora stations into a portable speaker: https://t.co/c8vVUXoNt0
