@ARDavidson@LGHendersonUtah has factually proven that our elections are much more secure than you say. There’s always room for improvement, but sewing doubt is not the way to do it.
The Iron Fire has burned 40,000+ acres near Eureka with only 23% contained. Residents can return home today, but Highway 6 is still closed. What's normally 45 min from Provo is now 1hr 40min. Red Flag Warning Friday & Saturday.
Utah County residents win!
Clerk Davidson delivered the job description. This is a real win! Schwemmer’s title was demoted, his pay was cut by roughly 50%, and his supervisory authority was removed. This proves that showing up actually keeps our elected officials accountable!
DAVIDSON FAILS TO RELEASE KAI SCHWEMMER JOB DESCRIPTION BY DEADLINE
Clerk Aaron Davidson committed to releasing Chief Deputy Clerk Kai Schwemmer's job description by 5:00 PM today.
The deadline has passed. No job description was released.
Full statement is coming shortly.
Yesterday I demanded that Clerk Davidson fire Kai Schwemmer. He didn't listen and defended Kai. Do you accept this open corruption??
Salt Lake Tribune quoted my comments at the town hall.
Dozens of women in elected office — both Republicans and Democrats — told Utah County Clerk Aaron Davidson to consider the consequences of hiring Kai Schwemmer as an elections official. https://t.co/ZZW6nPDMVM
@Manhattva@sltrib I did! That's why I believe that everyone should be able to vote and that slavery is never okay. I didn't know that other grown-ups were okay with that. Sounds like you are the one who needs to grow up lol
@bumpkin45@sltrib@KaiSchwemmer Sounds like a lot of assuming. I would recommend checking out the recording to see how one “actively speaks out.” Besides, both parties are “actively speaking out” against Kai. Stay tuned to see how this Democrat kept the Clerk and Kai accountable. We’ll chat after 5:00 😎
Got endorsed by the Women's Democratic Club of Utah.
HD51 hasn't had a Democratic challenger in 8 years.
That changes this year.

Great day at convention. The RUBI (Rural Urban Bridge Initiative) and veterans presentations stood out to me most.
My biggest takeaway: real representation means working with everyone regardless of background.
Lots of HD51 residents I talk with don’t think in party lines.
They just want things to work.
Honestly… same. More people think this way than you'd expect.
Most people don’t start paying attention to local politics until something directly affects.
Lately, more people are paying attention.
I think that’s a good thing.
Growth in northwest Utah County is becoming more than an inconvenience. It’s affecting people’s time, stress, safety, and daily lives.
What growing pains are you feeling?
I kept hearing the same thing knocking doors today.
A lot of people don’t feel like they fully align with either party.
Honestly, I feel that too.
Most people just want a government that does its job.
Do you feel like you’re somewhere in the middle?
