This is a message for my dear same-sex attracted brothers and sisters in Christ who are seeking to faithfully follow Jesus in chaste singleness. I am so profoundly grateful for and humbled by the daily dying to self that you submit to, wrestle with and model to the rest of us.

Please know that you are loved. By me. By many others. But most importantly by Christ.

Please know that even as you, like all of us, continue to wrestle with the flesh, you stand cleansed and forgiven by the blood of Christ shed for you.

Please know that God has gifted you his own Spirit to dwell within you, conforming you to the likeness of his Son. He who has promised is faithful, and he will do it.

Please know that there is a day coming when we will all stand before the throne of our glorious Saviour, perfected and glorified and gathered to sing praises to Him forever.

I can't wait to stand beside you on that final day. In the meantime, let's both cling to him. Together.
