10/10 would recommend.
How sad is it that it’s equal parts disappointing and satisfying to realize that you don’t actually need new gear because what you already have is amazing.
I think I prefer the term "post-Mormon" to "ex-Mormon". I relate more to
"it's a thing I used to do"
than I do to
"yeah I was with it for 30 years and it ended badly"
So far in my life, one realization has helped me more than just about anything else when trying to make a point:
The more important a specific word is (in my opinion) to conveying said point, the less likely it is that anyone else ever uses that word the way I mean it.
A month in and the Surface Duo is still my favorite mobile device I've ever owned. It's about time something unseated my old Blackberry Curve.
Thoughts like this are how I know I'm a weirdo.
Ever thought you were 100% right and then experience shows you that you went about it all wrong, but you're convinced that the end goal is still right, so you start doing the super fun work to undo what you did so you can start over, but then you see really cool new opportunites?
i buy cow's milk (even though it messes with my tum tum) because i believe it expires faster than almond milk and i have a subscription to magicspoon and for some reason i need the fear of the milk going bad to drive me to eat the cereal before the next shipment.
