Won’t shock you, but Cassidy makes a strong case against confirming Blanche but decided to confirm him anyway. I know the threats to family that come with standing up to Trump so perhaps this was simply a vote to make his own post senate life easier for him and his family but the precedent this sets only lengthens the time it will take to bring credibility back to the DoJ.
Murkowski is sooooooooooooo awful. She was first appointed to the Senate by her father. She is the biggest supporter of the NEA and AFT in the Senate, and they reward her with big campaign bucks and manning the precincts throughout Alaska each election cycle on her behalf. She was involved in changing Alaska's primary voting system, to where it is now similar to California's jungle-election system. Murkowski did that because she would be defeated in a Republican primary. And the list goes on and on. She is everything that is wrong with establishment Republicans, the ruling class, and DC. Self-serving, self-promoting, and self-righteous about it.
Remember, he was “hired” by Abigail Spanberger to lower our power bills. Yet, first thing they did was slap a massive carbon tax on every Virginians energy bill. I guess “affordability” means something very different from leftist politicians and every day Americans……
This ‘longtime Republican’ has been endorsing Democrats for a long time.
Mike Collier for Texas Lieutenant Governor (2022), against Republican incumbent Dan Patrick.
Colin Allred for U.S. Senate (2024), against Republican Ted Cruz.
Kamala Harris for President (2024), against Donald Trump.
Taylor Rehmet for Texas Senate (District 9, around late 2025, in connection with a special election).
And now, Talarico.
Meh.
Voted for Merrick Garland
Voted for Lisa Monaco
Didn’t say boo about the abusive weaponization of the Biden DOJ against US citizens over their political beliefs—which included the unlawful use of a corporate fraud statute against 300+ J6ers

@Nordstrom, will you publicly condemn his actions?
Oh Pete’s sake, he wouldn’t even answer when asked about the color of the rug on the floor. He was not going to answer any questions, no matter what they were.
