I pray the welfare cuts don’t involve the most vulnerable in society I’m a trustee of a day centre in Lewisham started up by parents, many of the clients have learning disabilities they are starting to worry as I do for my own daughter.
Many don’t have enough money now to buy essentials, make cuts and I don’t know how they will cop, at this moment of time all I can say is I’m ashamed of our country, the country that I’ve always been proud off

In 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine, I joined a community of fellow artists for Global Citizen’s “Stand Up For Ukraine” event, which benefited refugees displaced by the War, and performed my Dad’s song “Imagine”.

I chose that song because it represents the collective desire to achieve peace worldwide.

Sadly, 3 years later, the War persists and we must again stand up for and with Ukraine. 🙏🏼
