Our topic was prayer in public schools, and we were assigned to argue against it. We were doing research in the library together and my friend looked at me as he was reading the constitution and, incredulous, said "Ya know, the way this thing's worded, it's in our favor!"

Sr year of high school, we had to do debates for government class. We could pick our topic but not which side we were arguing for. A friend & I decided to be partners because we were on different sides of every issue, so we figured one of us would argue for something we believed
