We could sit here and argue all day about if the Brewers are a ‘bad team’ or not. But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter. The only question that matters is: Are they a World Series team? That answer is NO. Who cares about anything else? The goal of a season is to win the WS
It’s funny how you can’t say the Brewers are bad when they are losing games. That’s being ‘reactionary’. Yet it’s not ‘reactionary’ to declare the team as being good after one win?
@BREW_MATHs Yeah sometimes reality isn’t fun. But I live in reality not in make believe. And yeah sometimes it’s not fun. But I appreciate your concern. Go brewers!
@BREW_MATHs That’s all nice. But I’m telling you the Brewers are not going to win a World Series this year. Because it is not a World Series team. I’m sorry to offend you by stating that. But I’m not going to change my mind. It’s not a World Series team.
Watching Hiura and what he’s doing is amazing. It also makes you really question the failed logic in sending him down for Shaw the first time. I get they wanted Shaw back.. But for Hiura was ridiculous and that continues to show.
Despite all the bad for the Brewers, Woodruff is fun to watch. It’s a shame it has to be a worry that he won’t get enough run support or a good finish from his bullpen.
@WiscoWriterGuy Back to your wasted season point..Last year was a wasted season. They didn’t win the World Series. You have some fun memories, sure. But the point of a pro team is not to make fun memories of divisions or playoffs. The point is to win it all. Most WI fans don’t understand that.
@WiscoWriterGuy They were 1 game from the WS last season. ONE GAME. And they got Grandal.. which is fine! Good move for sure. But that wasn’t their problem or their down fall. They did nothing to address pitching.
@WiscoWriterGuy AMEN! Right on target. I agree 100% wasted season. At least in terms of the whole point which is the World Series. You’ll have a hard time convincing a lot of brewers fans of that fact though. But you are absolutely right. There is 1 successful team every year. The one that wins
@Wisconajb I mean you are what you are... it’s not rocket science. Grandal is someone who got kicked out of a game last night. Nothing more nothing less. That’s who he was last night. You are what you are. Again.. this isn’t that complicated.
How long has this stupid phrase ‘that’s not who I am’ been around? I hear everyone saying it. When Houser pitches awful he said ‘that’s not who I am as a pitcher’ Grandal on getting tossed says ‘that’s not who I am’ Heard radio guy say ‘this isn’t who Burnes is’. What is this?
