@curriculum_dps A6: Continue working on my mini lessons and finding quality mentor texts to use for the lessons. I also would like to plan a literature circle once a quarter so I need to understand how to organize this in my reading workshop. There's more, those are the two biggies.

@curriculum_dps A5: Well, I am a new Language Arts teacher, having been away from teaching this subject for 10 years. Having said this just about everything has evolved over the year but definitely my understanding of the standards and my introduction to mentor texts for mini lessons. #dpschats

@curriculum_dps A4: I feel it is going okay for my first year at implementing both workshops. Of course, time is always an issue, as well as the many hours I spend trying to plan my lessons. I love it though and I believe the kids love it also!

@curriculum_dps A2: I am new at this but I definitely believe that the interactive read-aloud is helping to create book joy in my class. The kids look forward to this part of the day and are disappointed if we miss it.
