@mashupmath is my favorite way to challenge my students to think outside the box with math facts. On top of daily fact practice with BFF, we use Mashup’s fun themed algebraic equations to work together to solve complex problems. It’s amazing to see what they can solve together!
Today students in my grade 4/5 class @StDanielOCSB were introduced to one of my favourite brain snack activities- @mashupmath! They were shocked at how good they were at these algebraic math sentences. #ocsbMath
Yesterday in Math Ss created their own Find the Value puzzles inspired by the ones we did each Monday from @mashupmath. They then walked around and tried to solve each other’s puzzles.
@HawksMathamagic@CAMT_TX@howie_hua Hi Phonisha, Thank you so much for the kind words and for sharing @mashupmath with the amazing educators at @CAMT_TX! If you ever need anything or have ideas you’d like to share, don’t hesitate to reach out :)
Two weeks ago at @CAMT_TX I encouraged the 70 sumn math Ts that joined our session to make sure they follow these two! They always fill my math cup! @mashupmath@howie_hua#MathEdEfficacy
