Such an incredible experience and the money we’ve raised has made all the pain and suffering worthwhile.
Thank you to everyone that has either donated, shared our story or just supported us along the way.
As we take a look back, it's just over a week since the team finished Offa's Dyke. From the Severn Estuary to Prestatyn. Over 310KM across some stunning but arduous terrain. With over £2,000 raised & donations still coming in 😊, there's still time to give https://t.co/P09ZYgI1rX
Day 8, mission complete. The 4 Welsh Warriors finished Offa's Dyke in 30.3KM, over 8hrs 52M & 1,046M of elevation on the day. Overall, an excruciating 73hrs 53m over 310.4KM & overall scaled 11,489M. That's over 2,500M higher than Everest! I'm so proud of you all. Just Magic!
Friday 28th June, Day 7. The lads have produced another huge effort to walk one of the last legs. Almost 9hrs 'in the saddle' nearly 33KM covered & scaled 1,306M too. This has been breath-taking to oversee-so proud that we are involved with this. Last leg just around the corner.
Day 6. Offa's Dyke Trail-walking for STAND N. Wales & another 44KM. Once again a superhuman effort from the boys. Walking for over 11hrs during the 14hr period. More dizzy heights achieved, getting up to 1,278M. Ending in Llangollen, so a total of 242.18KM since the start! 😮
STAND North Wales - Offa's Dyke Trail; Day 3. After 2 big days, the team might have opted for an easier day on Monday-no chance! Another 7hrs walking, covering just under 31KM with max elevation of 748M. If you stopped at the church to pray for good weather, chaps... it worked!
Offa's Dyke Trail Charity Walk-Day 4. Dan described day four as 'brutal'. Not surprising as the team endured an 8hr 40min trek and scaled heights of 1,270M during the journey. The guys have been burning through the calories too. Keep going chaps, you're doing brilliantly.
Day 5 on the Offa's Dyke Trail. An absolutely mammoth hike today! 11hrs 25mins. from start to finish, 45.5KM over 13hrs, with 895M of elevation, en-route. A sterling effort from all round. If you can, please donate to STAND https://t.co/P09ZYgI1rX . A great cause in North Wales.
STAND North Wales - Offa's Dyke Trail; Day 2. Mammoth walk on Sunday by the lads, almost 10.5 hours! Blimey. Just fantastic gents, keep going. Stats for Day 2: total distance, 43.6KM & Max elevation 1,311M. Phew! need oxygen just thinking about it. 😮
The Offa's Dyke Trail, Day 1 (Sat. 22nd June). Dan & James Brewerton from Crabb Engineering, along with good friends, Mike Walsh & Jamie Roberts, smashed 38KM in just a little over 8 Hours. If you can donate to https://t.co/P09ZYgI1rX please do.
3 and half weeks from now we are setting off on a challenge that will test us on many different levels. We’ve got our work cut out but we will give everything we’ve got to hit our target.
