Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.
We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
This hurts man. I grew up watching him wrestle, went to his wrestling camps, supported him all throughout his MMA career and he had all of South Dakota behind him. Absolutely heartbreaking.
I think teams could learn plenty from us.
1. Make tickets affordable.
(shoutout the Mets)
2. Make baseball accessible. End blackouts.
3. Cater to the fan. Not the corporations.
Without the fans you have nothing, why wouldn’t you make that your core?
If your kid missed a playoff game for the prom and was dismissed from the team.
Do this.
Schedule a meeting with the athletic director and principal.
Walk in their office with your game face on.
Thank them for hiring a coach that held your kid accountable.
Tell them you have raised your kid to believe he can do whatever, whenever, however he wants and you're thankful the coach expected him to be a great teammate.
