@john_hersc79276@KYGolfHoles They are definitely more forgiving now than they were 10 years ago which would allow a player to swing harder with less consequence.
@chambleebrandel It’s almost like when golf turns into purely a power game there are less viable ways to swing a golf club and produce the maximum amount of speed
@rangemerchant@Mike_kim714 I feel like most sports when making rules have to not listen to players who may have their own biases. Tour players can’t make the rules for everybody.
@Mike_kim714 I hate the claim that this only affects 1% of golfers, it affects everyone who watches golf on tv. The game is less interesting the less long irons are needed just out of a pure range of outcomes perspective.
@dr_ostrich@Top100Rick Could the guys be swinging harder because of the forgiveness? Like swinging harder would imply hitting the center is less important now than ever
@desertdufferLLG @yearning_tree @LPGA I think the frustration should be pointed at the LPGA tour for not creating a revenue generating product. Broadcast stinks, golf course has a kiddie pool that’s been installed. The women deserve a tour that knows how to create revenue.
@hijossportmania@NUCLRGOLF They still have a minimum amount of events everybody who is a DPWT member have to play and you have to be a member to play in the Ryder cup. That number is 6 and that’s what’s holding Rahm back according to him. Less about money.
@MyGolfSpy Like driver lengths being 50+ inches would make not make the game easier for most golfers but it’s illegal because there has to be regulations, regardless if they’re stopping people from gaining an advantage.
@4AcesGC_@AnthonyKim_Golf@livgolf_league How can you guys possibly complain about the amount of OWGR points you get and sign someone who’s only in your league because of who he used to be.
