"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Romans 5:3-4
@my_lord_saves I’m praying Num 6:22–26 for you, asking the Lord to be true to his promises to bless you and keep you. I’m asking him to make his presence known to you, to be full of grace toward you, and to give you supernatural peace. May you live like you are blessed, because you are.
Psalm 77:1-6 ESV
[1] I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, and he will hear me. [2] In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted. [3] When I remember God, I moan; when I meditate, my spirit faints.
Selah [4] You hold my eyelids open; I am so troubled that I cannot speak. [5] I consider the days of old, the years long ago. [6] I said, “Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart.”
After 31 verses describing God's miraculous provision on behalf of His people we read this warning:
In spite of all this, they still sinned; despite his wonders, they did not believe. Psalm 78:32 ESV
May these words not be said of us!
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. Psalm 1:1-2
"I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live." Psalm 116:1-2
