@S_GerardRennick I agree that politicians should receive compensation for their service to the country. However, any income received from appointments to boards, universities, or as consultants etc. should be deducted from the pension. They should report the income as others do on Gov benefits.

@RicKellyCountry @WhosFibbing @Lisa9Sophia Was at the NRL game Friday night at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The Anzac ceremony was quite moving with lots of soldiers and army band. Then came the colour guard, with the leader barking orders. When I say barking it was more yapping by female soldier. Sort of lost the impact.
