🎉 Introducing 2 of Our 6 Diabetes Pilot Grant Recipients!
Meet Dr. Sirimon Reutrakul, one our incredible endocrinologists at the UI Health Diabetes Center! 💙
Dr. Reutrakul specializes in treating type 1 and type 2 diabetes and has clinical interest in glucose metabolism. As a recipient of our Diabetes Pilot Grant, she is exploring ways to improve cardiac autonomic neuropathy and hypoglycemia awareness in people with type 1 diabetes through respiratory muscle training.
Fun facts: she’s an avid bird watcher, fluent in both Thai and English, and the cutest cats! 🐱
We look forward to seeing the impact of Dr. Reutrakul’s research journey.
