"If I were going to predict the future right now, I think we will be swept completely out of the Middle East by the time this war ends."
Col. Douglas MacGregor
If you think God is going to fall from the sky and remove ZANUPF, stop Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, and make sure that you get jobs whilst you do nothing with your ass on the sofa, you are going to wait for the rest of your life, my brother.
Freedom, change, and economic opportunity have never been delivered to any people through passive waiting. They come known through organisation, sacrifice, strategic thinking, and sustained pressure. If citizens do not stand up, mobilise, and defend their Constitution, no miracle will descend to do that work on their behalf.
🔸45 years after Independence and you’ve failed to create jobs, failed to create a stable currency, failed to keep industries open, failed to create a conducive environment for business, failed to provide opportunities.
Instead of apologizing for your failure to do the basics required of any Govt, you’re beating up vendors for trying to salvage whatever dignity is left of their lives by buying and selling wares. We would not have a vending crisis if the Govt was able to run a functional economy that afforded fairness and opportunity for all.
You promised the people Gutsaruzhinji but have given us Hutsinye kuvazhinji. It’s a mess.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
This foolish President's country is facing serious drought in 30yrs, 7million Zimbabweans are starving, but today is is replacing Chiefs vehicles with new ones whilst going around with a begging bowl for food. @edmnangagwa is foolish and isn't fit to be a leader. #Clown
🟣Free @namataik_. She’s a trailblazing youth advocate and public leader. She’s not a criminal. Only cowards are terrified of talent.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼

This is a Mozambican professor who has dressed as a female Zimbabwean prisoner in solidarity with the pro-democracy women detained on June 16 for meeting to commemorate the Day of the African Child.
Prof. Adriano Nuvunga is the director of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CDD), an organisation that promotes democracy and protects human rights in Mozambique.
Among the pro-democracy women jailed without trial by Emmerson Mnangagwa is a woman with a one-year-old child at Chikurubi Maximum Prison.
Another woman activist was denied the right to bury her child, who died after Mnangagwa imprisoned her.
Another female activist, Namatai Kwekweza, was dragged off a plane and held incommunicado for eight hours and accused of committing a crime on a date when she was not even in Zimbabwe.
All this is happening in the context of the SADC Summit taking place in Harare this week.
The timing of these arrests and torture abuses of pro-democracy activists in Zimbabwe, coinciding with the upcoming SADC Summit, is ironic.
It is alarming to see the Zimbabwean regime seemingly cracking down on civil society and opposition voices ahead of a regional meeting that should, in theory, promote peace and cooperation.
Professor Adriano Nuvunga's act of solidarity by dressing as a female Zimbabwean prisoner highlights the international attention these issues are receiving.
Through your retweets and reshares of these posts, the world is waking up to the terrible situation in Zimbabwe today!
It is important for SADC member states to address these concerns and hold Zimbabwe accountable for upholding the principles of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.
As the summit approaches, regional leaders must demonstrate their commitment to these values and work towards a peaceful resolution that respects the rights and freedoms of all Zimbabweans.
Failure to do so will lead to unintended consequences that will affect the whole region, as the immigration crisis in South Africa that has been created by Mnangagwa’s kleptocratic regime!
