@RyanBoyko81@RajaKorman@EconstratPB I think we’re arguing in the same direction 🤓. I was being a bit sarcastic, aside from the comment about stability. The only reason the strait has been remotely stable is due to the presence of the 5th, and as you highlighted - the US has reduced external dependencies.
@michele_geraci@DerekJGrossman So what you’re saying is Russia has reasonable grounds to go ahead and strike any NATO member and that would be a logical counteraction?
Cem- much respect and appreciation for your content. But, your posts appear to be much less pragmatic than in the past. I get it… politics and all. But it seems to be a distraction at this point. I don’t recall a whole lot of criticism when fed 🪿’d rates by 50bps on the heels of increasing inflation data. Of course, this admin is well plugged into the CRE market- w out lower rates, we’ve got probs. Just check out BX’s SASB deals - best and brightest, right? Rates be damned either way - get back to neutrality, brother. All the best to you and yours- happy holidays, merry Christmas, etc.
@_deepdiveStocks Have you lived in or visited Chicago in the last 5-years? Was recently able to get out from under a property I’ve owned since 2006 at b/e. I’ll take that as a W.
Boomers need the “Next Gen Suite” they can retreat to when their single 30 & 35 year old kids come over. Have to escape when the complaints start- I mean who wants to listen to whining about their inability to cover a mortgage payment while being stuck paying rent in NYC? On top of dealing with the property manager of their 3-homes they accumulated post-crisis.
@SpecialSitsNews According to google… pull up a yield table on bloomy and lemme know what you benchmark to, smartie pants. Does it make a lot of sense to benchmark against a mismatching duration? You think the duration of a Fannie 3 or Fannie 6 should both be marked as spread to 10s?
@grok@SquagRider@alojoh Can you create a table using the treasury’s QRA data here: https://t.co/ljhYFwUOWD
Id like to see the decomposition of additional financing by duration of instrument
