I've spent four weeks in the hospital and rehabilitation. Had to learn how to live with paralysis from the waist down. I basically went from walking with a cane to no movement in my legs in less than a month.

I'm still going through chemo and its related fatigue, but I'm fighting for every minute. My chemo is a trial based on genetic mapping of my tumor to identify medications that might work. I freaking love science, and I pray it's going to be effective. #fuckcancer #chondrosarcoma

Still alive! I had a pulmonary embolism during physical therapy and have been in the hospital/rehab for almost 4 weeks. Finally going home on Monday, but I'm now paralyzed from the waist down. It's been a tough time. But the rehab staff are amazing.

Update:

The tumor(s) taken out of my leg were over 27 inches and 10 pounds. They actually gave me a picture of the largest of anyone wants to see it. Using a walker, but in a lot less pain. Next is radiation for my spine. Talk to the docs tomorrow.

Fuck cancer. I'm in a lot of pain, and I hate it, but I would take it every day for the rest of my life if it would take cancer away from kids. #cancelcancer

Surgery on Tuesday to remove a mass of chondrosarcoma from my leg and hip on Tuesday. It's over 17 inches long, so I'm looking forward to a nice scar from my knee up and over my hip. Once healed up then we'll tackle masses in my spine and lung. Fun times. 😅 #fuckcancer
