I’ve seen administrators who would rather build their resume, than relationships.
And what I’ve noticed is that those who build relationships rarely need a resume.
Students don’t know you care about them because you teach them… or because you’ve told them that you do. They know you care about them when you go out of your way to care about them.
5th grade Ss in Mrs. Lloyd's Social Studies class were tasked with building the tallest structure they could of paper. The catch: They had to decide how to build it in a democratic government and how to build it with a monarchy govermnent telling them what to do. #NRVikings

4th grade Ss in Miss Ashbrook's Social Studies class learn about why taxation without representation was so unfair! Ss had to pay part of their candy paycheck to the tax collectors for a pet tax, sugar tax, footwear tax and other unfair taxes #NRVikings
