I see Stormont were debating SEN provision and the issues, lack of investment etc. Hoping this somehow leads to meaningful change. This pic was at a protest about the lack of SEN provision back in 2016. Let’s hope for more sustained change over the next 8 years

As our network of parents expands to parents of autistic girls, the more I meet parents of autistic girls who are not being supported in school settings, maybe largely because of their masking capabilities. Assumptions need challenged and complexity understood #autism
