Why is this not reported, while the criminals are posting their genocidal crimes?
These images, of unsustainable violence, a video shot in the city of Uvira before his capture by the M23 rebellion.
We see a militiaman Wazalendo, holding a human heart in his hands, after the summary execution of a person accused of being an "infiltrator". The crime is justified in the name of the alleged "resistance against Rwandan Tutsi invaders", a hate speech that has become a pretext for murder.
From October 9, 2025, the Wazalendo militias launched a real manhunt in the city of Uvira. Civilians were arbitrarily labeled as "M23 spies", arrested, executed on the spot, without trial, without defense, without any legal procedure.
The toll is overwhelming with at least ten people murdered, including nine from the Banyamulenge community. Among them, the young MUNIAKURI PACIFIC, coldly riddled with bullets in the head before his body was abandoned to the ground, like a message of terror addressed to an entire community.
These crimes were perpetrated exclusively by the Wazalendo militiamen, in a climate of total impunity. No serious report, no official conviction was made to the United Nations Security Council, neither by the European Union nor by the United States, despite the extreme seriousness of the facts.
During this international silence, the Wazalendo militiamen, especially in the Salongo district of Uvira, conducted door-to-door operations, tracking down the so-called "Rwandan infiltrators", an expression that, in the local language, openly and unambiguously refers to the Banyamulenge, the Congolese Tutsis of Itombwe.
It was not an isolated abuse, but a targeted persecution campaign, based on the ethnicization of the conflict, the incitement to hatred and the extrajudicial execution of innocent civilians, under the indifferent gaze of the international community.

I share these images with respect for the gravity of your office. They are difficult to witness, but they reflect realities on the ground that may not be fully captured in formal reporting.
These images are presented not to provoke, but to ensure that the human cost is fully understood.
