@KettlebellDan I don't know the derivation of the name Grok, but I read "Stranger in a Strange Land" years ago in high school. The author, Robert Heinlein, used the term "grok" in the book. I don't remember the full context but it meant "drink" as in drinking in knowledge. That would be cool :)
@AVGirl4Life What do whites have to do with the roots of slavery? Slavery has been in existence since man began and very few of those who owned slaves were white. Maybe start with the tribes in Africa that kept their defeated enemies in slavery in the first place and go from there.
