How can we have this “Benedict Arnold” represent us without a bi-election!!! This is a massive slap in the face to our constituency who voted for him. Hope he has the stones to run again next time!!!!
A very good friend of mine - who is historically a Liberal voter - sent me this today. Sometimes a “joke” hits a little too close to home:
“So I let this guy stay in my house…
He said he’d pay rent, help out, fix the fence, paint the basement, promised me the world.
What actually happened?
He didn’t pay a dime.
He maxed out my credit cards.
Tried to sleep with my wife.
Let 14 people move in without asking.
Gave away my clothes and even the emergency cash I had hidden in the wall.
It took me years to finally get rid of him.
Now, some of my neighbors, who liked the guy, somehow, are pressuring me to let him back in. I said no chance.
So guess what he does? He sends his brother to ask if he can move in instead.
And now I’m arguing with people who are gaslighting me into thinking I’m the crazy one for saying absolutely not.
Sound familiar?
Welcome to the Carney–Trudeau Show.
New paint job, same broken plumbing.”
I find this “joke” telling. How anyone can think that you can replace one “leader” with another “leader”, rip off some others’ policies and then lean in on tax and spend policies and then call it “change” is beyond me.
Canadians, please vote wisely. We need positive change. Not the same old, same old….
OMG🥴Please make it stop🛑
The Liberals spent 6 years saying 8/10🇨🇦are better off with the crippling carbon tax
Now they’re celebrating lower gas prices?
It never should’ve gone up in the first place
We lost a decade of prosperity for this insanity
Same person 1 year apart.
April 2024: Paying the carbon tax puts more money in your pocket!
April 2025: Eliminating the carbon tax puts more money in your pocket!
It's Schrödinger's Tax!
There should be just one takeaway from the fall in gas prices: the Liberals had the power ALL along to make life more affordable for you and your family. They did absolutely nothing until they needed your vote.
What happens again when they no longer need it? I’ll give you one guess.
This is the dumbest controversy ever. Your biological clock is ticking and for most young couples I speak to, they're delaying having children because they live pay check to pay check can't afford to buy a home in which to raise their child.
Mark Carney who believes the carbon tax should be high enough to punish Canadians, has temporarily lowered the carbon tax to improve his chances of winning an election.
These changes will not last. Carney plans to hide the carbon tax and shift it to industries which will trickle down to consumers.
The gas prices today show the damage and price gouging that Liberals have inflicted on Canadians with the carbon tax.
After years of being called climate change-deniers, Conservatives finally got Liberals to admit that their carbon tax was a revenue ploy that hurt Canadians.
Don’t fall for this temporary ploy. Remember that for years the Liberals punished you with this tax and only relented when they were going to be voted out.
Only Conservatives will axe the carbon tax on everything, forever.
As a Canadian who lived in the US for 10 years, the differences are striking. Canada feels stuck in the past—our high taxes don’t reflect the services we get, especially with a healthcare system that’s slow, inefficient, and frustrating to navigate. The weak Canadian dollar limits global competitiveness, and excessive regulations stifle business growth. Meanwhile, the US rewards ambition and innovation in ways we haven’t embraced.
If Canada is so great, why do so many companies, artists, and actors move to the US for better exposure, more opportunities, and higher earnings? Even crossing the border feels punitive, as if Canadians are outsiders in the North American economy.
And let’s address gun violence. People love to criticize the US but Canada has its issues too. Despite strict gun laws, cities like Toronto see shootings nearly every weekend. We can’t pretend these problems don’t exist here.
Housing is another disaster. As Pierre Poilievre highlighted in his interview with Jordan Peterson, it takes years longer to save for a down payment in Canada than in the US especially in cities like Toronto or Vancouver. Our richest province, Ontario, is now poorer than the poorest US state, and Canadians have to work more hours just to remain competitive.
Canada has its strengths, but united with the US we could be even stronger. Together, we’d have access to unmatched economic opportunities, lower taxes, better healthcare innovation, & enhanced security. Combining resources and ideas would make both nations more competitive on the global stage. It’s time to consider how much more we could achieve as one unified powerhouse.
This is one of the greatest speeches I've ever seen any politician deliver.
And Poilievre's right. We're not relying on him because we want to. We're relying on him because he's our last hope for this country.
