A lot of Russian assets across the globe have started a last ditch effort to save Russia from its looming defeat. The only right response is to increase help for the Ukrainian people, enabling them to finish the job. Once imperial Russia is no more, many „domestic“ problems will „miraculously“ disappear, because after all it has always been Russia and not a domestic issue.
SEN. KELLY: I think it's fair to say that right now Ukrainians are winning. Russians are struggling with their offensive, losing upwards of 35,000 troops every month, having hard time replacing those losses. Ukrainians even starting to regain territory. So, momentum is shifting.
WELL, WELL, WELL...
Ukraine 🇺🇦 owns Konstantinovka 🇺🇦.
Trolls Take Note: The Wall Street Journal just published a Ukraine front-line map that looks (shockingly 🤣) like mine. Russians who dare enter the city are transmuting into beautiful sunflowers. 🌻🌻🌻⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Today Ronald Reagan would say, “Mr Putin, get the hell out of Ukraine.”
He set the example for a strong “Peace through Strength” policy guided by strong values.
❗️I just left the historic centre of Lviv, Ukraine 🇺🇦 because 🇷🇺 russia decided to launch a nuclear-capable missile at fucking civilians again.
Yet STILL, russian war criminals, soldiers of the ‘Special Military Operation’ & russian citizens can travel FREELY across Europe 🤬
REP. BACON: President Trump wants to negotiate settlement between Ukraine and Russia, acting like referee in boxing match, but that’s not the case. There’s good versus evil here.
Russia invading Ukraine, bombing cities every night. America should be unashamedly on the right side — the side of democracy, the side of Ukraine, country that wants to align with us.
Russia hates us. Putin hates United States, hates what we stand for. I don’t know why President Trump can’t see that.
I’ve waited year and a half in this Congress to get something done on Ukraine, and we’ve done nothing.
There have been no votes, no policies from the leadership here or from President to support a country that is fighting for its life.
I agree that Ukraine has the upper hand right now, but Russia is bombing those cities every night, and we should be there to help them defend against these ballistic missile attacks.
Actions speak louder than words.
Russian 🇷🇺 Navy Base at Kronstadt ‘unexpectedly’ rocking this morning as ammo depots near St. Petersburg detonating for hours after Ukrainian 🇺🇦 strikes at dawn.
The island is now being evacuated, walls are shaking, and officials are acting surprised. Developing…⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
70% of America supports Ukraine. This Republican does too. It’s time the House do the People’s business and support freedom against an invading dictator.
“Ukraine is now so successful that Putin can only hold a May 9 parade thanks to an official decree from Zelenskyy,” — NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said.
ZELENSKYY: Lifting sanctions is very helpful for Russian war machine. I think it’s not about lowering prices. It’s about trying to find dialogue with Russians, but it’s not correct dialogue. Russians see it as a sign of weakness. We need to stay strong and put sanctions on them.
ZELENSKYY: Unfortunately, current level of our air defense supplies doesn't allow us to intercept significant share of missiles. 130 people were injured. Tragically, 22 people were killed, including 2 children.
Once again, Putin "claimed victory" over lives of ordinary children, residential buildings, and clinic in Kyiv.
"Shaheds" targeted high-rise buildings in Dnipro and, for some reason, also car dealership with Chinese-made cars in Kyiv. Zircon missile struck seven buildings at once.
"Shaheds" also hit residential buildings in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and the Poltava region. There were strikes in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Every single one of these drones, all types of Russian missiles, cannot be produced at all without components imported from other countries. This means that in every such strike there is, perhaps not always conscious, but still real, complicity of those who work for Russia.
Who supply Russia with money, who help it bypass sanctions and find not just one or two, but thousands of components without which Russian military production would simply come to a halt.
Five Kalibr missiles contain 145 such components. Thirty-three Iskander missiles contain 1,122 components. Six hundred and fifty strike drones of various types contain more than 17,000 components, without which they could not be produced.
These are large-scale schemes designed to bypass sanctions. And this is absolutely real complicity in the killings.
The Russians offered to “exchange” children for soldiers. But how can you exchange children? That’s impossible,” Zelenskyy said.
“First of all, it violates the law: civilians cannot be exchanged - they must be returned. Therefore, the very concept of such an ‘exchange’ is unacceptable,” the president noted.
The very fact of such a proposal from the Russia only confirms that the abducted children were indeed taken away.
Putin is getting desperate… he’s a cornered rat. All he has in his deck of cards is bombing civilians and trying intimidate NATO countries nearby. https://t.co/HVQk6mNncY
Three years ago, on June 6, 2023, russia destroyed the Kakhovka dam. Towns flooded. Civilians died. Homes, farms, animals, and whole ecosystems were destroyed.
We have intel indicating that Russia is preparing a new massive attack. Please pay attention to air raid alerts and stay safe.
Air defense and the continued need to help Ukraine protect its skies are our key priorities. I am grateful to every partner, every leader, and every country that is ready to help and that implements our arrangements in full.
The PURL initiative must work. This concerns both the United States and Europe. We are pooling funds from our European partners and other friends to purchase missiles, including for Patriot systems. Sufficient supplies depend on America, and we hope that Ukraine will be heard.
I know it is his job, but the fact Zelenskyy has been working every single day for the past 1,555 days should be highly commended.
The man is fucking relentless, a daily inspiration.
Thank you @ZelenskyyUa 🫡
Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
After spending a week in Eastern Europe it is very apparent that our tardiness to meet weapons delivery commitments is undermining deterrence and encourages Russia to be more aggressive. Our defense industry must step up and expand production. We are leaving countries that border Russia with a lack of ammo. The same is occurring with Taiwan.
The United Nations General Assembly should vote on removing the Russians from the Security Council. Russia is a pariah state and should be treated that way.
I wish all of you to not give up like this McDonald’s on Lukianivka in Kyiv.
It reopened after yet another russian attack.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, it has already been damaged seven times. And yet, every single time, it comes back.
