From putting in epidurals in laboring patients to being a part of the organ transplantation process to helping patients get through difficult times- I gotta say, anesthesia was definitely the right choice for me!

Had a much needed retreat weekend with my fellow CA-1’s in CT! Grateful to be part of such an amazing, talented, accomplished, and intelligent class!

Intubated my first pediatric patients (DL and video laryngoscopy), did my first pediatric IV’s and did my first fiberoptic intubation within the past week! Excited for more growth to come! Peds anesthesia is truly my calling 😭😭

As an aspiring pediatric anesthesiologist, I'm super grateful that Columbia anesthesia has us do rotations in general pediatrics as well as pediatric cardiology during our intern year. It helps confirm my interest in the field and you get really cute patients as a bonus 😭😭
