@rtenews Still no HSCL posts for all Rural DEIS schools. Rural poverty and at risk rural children and their families totally ignored today by @Education_Ire despite all the announcements about ending disadvantage. @FitzForDail@VeronaMurphyInd
@davecoughlan80@rtenews That's exactly why the role of the HSCL teacher is vital. Their role is to support parents specifically and build relationships with schools.
@rtenews Still no HSCL teachers for Rural DEIS schools. Children living in poverty in rural areas are obviously experiencing different poverty to urban areas according to @Education_Ire . I thought in 2026 Child Poverty is the same experience for the child wherever they live
@RTEOne This was a really brilliant documentary. It's a scandal that children are being deprived of a place in Reading School because there's simply not enough places across the country. To deny a child the gift of reading is shameful. @ncseirl
@oneillquigley @Nick_Delehanty An Taisce runs the Green Schools programme. Schools can apply for a shelter to be built to encourage more pupils to cycle to school.
