@OldDutchCap Also, “energy cannot be created not destroyed” is true - the extra energy came from the mass lost in the fusion reaction. As to why some matter is converted to energy? I don’t know those details, but it probably comes down to “that’s how the math works out.”

@OldDutchCap Because they induced a fusion reaction, and that fusion reaction is what created the 3 megajoules. A fusion reaction happens when two nuclei merge to become one and I n the process, mass is lost, which becomes energy.

For example, left-handed people used to be demonized, forced to write with their right hands. As society stopped ostracizing them, incidents of left-handedness grew, stabilizing in two generations.

Thus, simply declaring your pronouns is "forcing" them on people...because the people who matter should get to decide.

Whereas refusing to use a person's declared pronouns is NOT "forcing" pronouns on that person ... because, again, people who matters should be able to decide.
