@te1146@nuffingtonpost The AFL aren’t propping up half the league! They are the middleman collecting broadcast money on behalf of the teams. They then act like a parent giving out pocket money and give slightly more to some of the teams who don’t have as many “friends” or members as the others
@stkildafc Sydney didn’t have an issue for a decade with the impact of their previous major sponsor….all of a sudden they’ve grown a moral compass. If one of their players commits a homophobic slur will they give up their own rights to host the pride game?
@JoshJenkins24 Last week the AFL didn’t believe 2 players with the same story, but this week they did. Why not have a finding of insufficient evidence in this type of situation rather than pick and choose who to believe? To admit the AFL directly negotiated penalties previously 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️
@9NewsMelb@EdwardGodfrey9 So if Woolworths get fined…then they’ll charge customers even more to make it up so their share price isn’t impacted. Customers will be slugged twice! The only penalty that’ll make a difference is something that impacts the senior execs and the board members directly.
@fantasynut_afl I love RoMa but in 2025 he got smashed in the ruck every week. Tries hard and gives 100% effort but just can’t cut it against the top 10 rucks in the comp
@RalphyHeraldSun Maybe they should stop talking in riddles and admit what happened rather than asking for compassion and not stating the truth. They can’t have it both ways!
