@Uber_Support I had left a winter hat in an uberx ride that my client booked, so it’s been impossible for me to contact Uber support. The driver’s name is DEEPAK He drives a Honda CR-V, T702937C. It happened around 5.20pm, in front of 924 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn. Help!

@armavirus@OsseChi@armavirus the hours it takes for brokers to get a viewing together, contact management for an appointment, getting paperwork/documents prepared, communicating w/ management for a lease approval takes hours and time. A reasonable fee for services rendered for the broker is fair.
@NancyMorisseau@OsseChi@NancyMorisseau real estate agents/brokers who work solely on commission do more than "just unlocking the door to an apartment." Do more research of the extensive hours and time a broker spends with a client to get them approved before passing judgment on the profession.
@OsseChi Sometimes the landlord offers a half "OP" to the broker, as the broker can collect any remaining fees from the tenant. But your tweet above is a broad paintbrush of inaccuracy.
@OsseChi This is not always accurate. If a landlord offers an OP to the broker, usually the tenant does not pay the fee, as the broker will be collecting from the landlord. If the landlord does not offer an OP, then yes the fee has to be paid to the broker from the tenant.
@IzzyMac1234@NikkiTNYC@OsseChi I work part time as a real estate agent. Most landlords don't want to deal with tenants, which is why there are brokers acting on their behalf. It will not be possible for NYC to exist without freelance brokers.
