There is no standing eight count. Fury was given a count because the referee rules (correctly) that the ropes were all that was holding him up and he ruled a knockdown, which requires an eight-count.
@MonteroOnBoxing Nonsense. I am a huge Usyk fan, but the ref made the right call. The ropes kept Fury from going down. Nelson correctly ruled it a knockdown and administered the eight count. Textbook.
