After more than a decade with @kalilinux, I was let go this week. I started in 2013 as a contractor and joined full time in 2014. I am gutted. This work was a huge part of my life, and as the only one on ARM, I do not know what the future holds for me or the project.
@ID_AA_Carmack As a self-taught computer scientist I'm immediately curious about the "too low level" misstep. 😅
I've worked on things ranging from RTL to Kubernetes and can't wait to watch this.
And here I barely finish naming a 15+ year old vulnerability after @samreich (https://t.co/gdtZn69S4p) and I figure out that he's changing the game again.
Next on https://t.co/DbLWkFO9FJ: @brianredbeard takes a look at the past and future for RISC-V and software-defined processors; check it out! https://t.co/zUyTE12E5Y
@LasVegasLocally@zero04013437 This feels like the sort of topic which MGM shareholders should be discussing.
"So this is how little MGM cares about getting this operation back on line. They'll cut corners and try to farm it out to the cheapest option, almost ensuring another exploit."

I've been spending a lot of time researching the optimization of maths at the CPU level.
If you could translate one mathematical function to a #RISCV opcode what would you pick and why?
Cool... so now we're in the era of CPU security vulns being named after movies. Intel or AMD: EVERYONE GETS A SIDECHANNEL ATTACK!

This is like the bullseye of why I'm all in on RISC-V at @RedHat.
@falconred I was thinking about the "ownership" of an idea implemented as software juxtaposed with the concept of harm directly caused by that software.
I mean that was like two calendar months ago. Don't ascribe any shower thought style speculation to the current software landscape.

They may not know that they can *also* get in touch with me via [email protected].
You know. Keeping work and personal lives separate.
