@BluBlzer @TODNewsHub The gondola capacity is way too low to be a viable transportation method for Dodger games which have a huge rush before and after games. If impossible to tunnel an A line spur they can make a bunch of escalators to get from A line station to stadium like universal studios starway

But other things like cost recovery and cap improvements the board can pass their own regs for. They stupidly got rid of interior reno program

SM is an elected board because RC was enacted by the people bypassing city council. LA has the LAHD not an elected board but a wing of the city executive to administer

@RobertWizenfeld @LA_Multi_Fam I actually asked the SM rent board if insurance is taken into account on fair return analytics formula and their response was there’s no requirement to insure your building, I guess technically true like there’s no requirement to mortgage it 🤔

One building I have $550 monthly fire sprinkler connection charge, it’s a fixed charge wonder if can pass thru

@DavidPiotrowski At this point we should just advocate for a state law to absolve owners from all liability for animal attacks or bites. State law is pretty clear the liability falls on the dog owner but we need blanket immunity for property owners.

We must build cheaper, underground, and directly serve highly trafficked destinations. K line should spur to connect Sofi rather than leave 2 mile gap. A line should spur to Dodger. Shouldn’t build rail stations in industrial zones, nobody buying tile and hauling it on train 😂

As we expand and improve public transit — which must be a high priority at all levels of government — we also must lower the cost of these projects. Other countries have much lower costs. We need to make that happen in the U.S.

It adds value for commercial/multi family because you can obviously do more with the land, but it potentially reduces value of SFR acreage. I’ve seen some deals which particularly got a huge valuation boost due to SB79 eligibility

@christopherrufo Remember those EIR reports were needed largely based on a law enacted by Governor Ronald Reagan called CEQA. At least CEQA should be reformed to match the far less cumbersome federal NEPA law.
