@PulpLibrarian Yet another late 60s theme tune that takes us of a certain age back to childhood . That time when many of the BBC children’s progs were imports . ( dubbed). Plus Don’t get me going on the subject of the Singing Ringing Tree or Snow Queen .
@fugitiveink I love Norfolk full stop . Can trace the maternal famiiy back through to the north coast . The churches have always fascinated me , whether big or small. When young we knew we were nearing our visit to great aunt when we could see the tower of St Andrews , Hingham looming.
Back in the Lakes . Welcomed by Storm Dave ! And relax…

@alexhornbyrail@GWSR Coming into the Race Course station and watching the massive queues of traffic heading in to park was certainly a sight to behold! Train very busy with race goers in festive mood! Nice photo Alex😄
The Company of the Ring gathers on Rivendell’s threshold at dusk, with their baggage loaded on Bill the pony. Sam remembers that he hasn’t packed rope. Boromir sounds his horn. And Elrond gives his blessing: ‘May the stars shine upon your faces!’
They walk south into the Wild.
