I just finished reading Kingsolver’s Demon Copperhead and The Poisonwood Bible back-to-back, and I am absolutely awed. I’ve read reviews that say things like “Kingsolver is forever trying to write the great American novel and missing the mark,” and to that I just have to (1/4)
